About

Our Mission....

To create connection, offer resources, and empower communities, one conversation, one walk, one creative project at a time. From pop-up mental health events such as our Listening Clinic’s in local towns to wellbeing walks, creative workshops, and support groups, we’re building a community where you don’t have to struggle alone.

And.. if you’re ready to be part of something truly special, join our business network…that’s right a space to showcase your business and share loud and proud that you are an advocate for mental health and wellbeing.

You can also join our fab whats app group where you’ll find like-minded souls, guided activities, and a warm, welcoming space to start feeling truly Well & Good.

Wherever you are on your journey, The Well & Good Wagon is showing up for you.

Will you step aboard?

Ruby Brown – Well and Good Guardian

Hi, I’m Ruby Brown, Founder, Guardian and project manager of The Well And Good Wagon CIC, a heartfelt initiative born from both personal experience and a deep commitment to mental health.

As a suicide survivor, I’ve long been passionate about understanding and supporting others on their journeys with their mental health and wellbeing, I know firsthand how vital connection, community, and a safe space can be. Although we have come some way in how people are seen and heard through the NHS service in view of mental health we still have a very long way to go.

As I reached peri-menopause many of my trauma’s and my ADHD were at an all time high and yet again I have struggled to be seen and heard in a system this time that is now under extreme pressure and with little to no support.

My love of the outdoors, road trips and freedom inspired the concept of a mobile service that could really reach the heart of the community and create a doorway for serving those who are currently struggling… and The Well And Good Wagon was born.

My other passions are my dogs, spending time with my daughter, photography and spending time by the ocean as much as possible. When the opportunity arises I always love to travel and am hoping to walk the Camino trail in the not too distant future.

Mark Blackie – Well and Good Guardian

Hey, I’m Mark, fellow Guardian and Well And Good Founder. I am a single parent to two remarkable teens, Tom & Nev my proudest achievements not forgetting our dog Rufus, a spaniel who has grown up with us all and my trusty landrover Defender which has become part of the family.

I am passionate about all sports especially football which I have previously coached.

My interest in mental health started when I had a breakdown in my late 20s a build up of things caused. I was facing a number of life stress’s and had just found out my first child was on his way during which time my ex wife suffered terribly with her mental health. We were moving and I had just started a new business.. It was a lot and I had began to rely on smoking weed, I did manage to stop this on finding out my wife was pregnant but I guess my brain said enough and tripped out!!!!

During that time I found access to any sort help was very difficult through the nhs and almost impossible privately due to the expense. Roll on 20 years and access to help with mental health is as or more difficult to access… so through the Well And Good Wagon we are here to help people or empower people so they can navigate life’s rocky roads more easily.
